Technology and AI

Co-Scientist can run a loop. It still needs a human at the furnace.

DeepMind’s Co-Scientist can now plan an experiment, run equipment, and write up the paper. THE DECODER reports extra checks in that loop.

The honesty test still matters. Fabrication was reported at 4% with the checks against 46% without them. A lower rate is not zero.

Someone still has to load the furnace and read the logs. The robot can draft the loop. It does not replace the human in the lab.
